You will be responsible for creating IT infrastructure blueprints for enterprise applications and integrating AWS components. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS services, the ability to act as a tech lead, and experience in teaching and supporting data engineers on AWS best practices. This position requires a strong focus on security, compliance, and infrastructure as code.

What will your day-to-day work be like?
Design and Architecture: Create and maintain IT infrastructure blueprints for enterprise applications, integrating AWS components. Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc. Develop and implement infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
Leadership and Mentorship: Act as a technical lead, overseeing the infrastructure design and implementation. Mentor and support team engineers on AWS best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes.
Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security and compliance measures in all cloud infrastructure designs. Conduct regular security assessments and ensure all solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Automation and Innovation: Drive business process automation initiatives, including the integration of AI models where applicable. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and solutions.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver optimal cloud solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
¿Qualifications & Experience?
Bachelor’s degree or FP in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture with a focus on AWS.
Stack: AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC and IAM; CloudFormation, Terraform and/or Ansible.
Certifications in AWS.
