Power Automate Solution Lead
The Power Automate Solution Lead will be the primary owner of our Microsoft Power Automate platform. This individual will set the platform’s strategic direction, drive the development of the solution roadmap, manage infrastructure, and ensure effective user enablement. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, a strong background in solution architecture, and excellent stakeholder engagement skills—particularly in coordinating with Microsoft and internal teams.

DÍA A DÍA
Platform Roadmap & Strategy
• Define and maintain a strategic roadmap for Power Automate capabilities across the organisation.
• Continuously evaluate emerging features, tools, and integration opportunities to enhance the platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation initiatives with business objectives.
Infrastructure & Governance
• Oversee the Power Automate infrastructure, including environments, licensing, and security configurations.
• Implement governance best practices to ensure compliance, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Manage and monitor platform usage, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
User Enablement & Adoption
• Develop and execute training, workshops, and hands-on enablement sessions to drive Power Automate adoption.
• Create and maintain user documentation, self-service materials, and guidelines.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to support users and troubleshoot complex automation challenges.
Engagement with Microsoft & Vendor Management
• Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Microsoft, staying current on product updates, roadmaps, and partnership opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for escalations, issue resolution, and roadmap discussions with Microsoft.
• Evaluate and manage third-party vendors or partners supporting the platform.
Solution Architecture & Delivery
• Provide oversight and guidance on solution design, ensuring automations are scalable, secure, and robust.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Operations, etc.) to drive end-to-end delivery of automation projects.
• Review and approve solution designs, best practices, and relevant documentation for Power Automate solutions.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead a small team of Power Automate administrators, developers, or support staff including 3rd parties.
• Engage with executive sponsors, business leaders, and end-users to communicate the value and progress of automation initiatives.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and innovation in the use of Power Automate and related Microsoft 365 services.
BACKGROUND
A suitable candidate should have experience in defining strategic roadmaps and managing Power Automate capabilities within an organization. They should possess expertise in infrastructure management, governance, and compliance to ensure security and optimal performance. Strong skills in user enablement, training, and adoption strategies are essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation challenges. Experience in vendor management, collaboration with Microsoft, and solution architecture is required. Additionally, leadership skills to manage teams and engage with stakeholders are crucial for driving automation initiatives successfully.
